Wild-type PHEX and secPHEX proteins are mainly located in the cell membrane and cytoplasm, while the localization of p.Glu145* and p.Trp749Arg mutated PHEX and secPHEX proteins in the cells changes such that they are widely distributed. At the same time, the expression of mutant PHEX and secPHEX proteins decreases significantly, especially the p.Glu145* mutants. Scale bar, 8 μm.
