The pCan-1 xenograft-bearing nude mice were subject to intratumoral injection of the shSLC5A3-S1-expressing adeno-associated virus (AAV-shSLC5A3) or the scramble control shRNA adeno-associated virus (“AAV-shC”), daily for 10 days; The estimated tumor volumes (in mm3, A) and the mice body weights (in grams, C) were recorded every 5 days, from “Day-0” to “Day-35”.
