Male C57BL/6 J mice were tested with streptozotocin injection and high fat diet (HFD) feeding to induce NASH model. HFD were starting at 4 week and administration of compounds (10 mg/kg OCA for reference, 10 mg/kg J2H-1702 for test, orally) was maintained for 6 weeks. A Histopathology was performed by H&E staining and inflammation score was measured in liver tissues. B Sirius red-staining was examined to measure fibrosis area. TIMP gene expression was analyzed by quantitative RT-PCR. Values are expressed as Mean ± SD (n = 10). ***P < 0.001 compared to the normal control group, #P < 0.05 and ##P < 0.01 compared to the STAM vehicle control.
