A, B WT, p50−/−, Beas-2B(Nonsense), and Beas-2B(shp50) cells were treated with 20 μM arsenite for 24 h as indicated. The cells were extracted and cell lysates were subjected to western blotting assay by using the indicated antibodies. CF shRNA ATG7 and shRNA Beclin1 were stably transfected into Beas-2B cells, and the stable transfectants were identified as indicated (C, D); the stable transfectants were treated with arsenite treatment for 24 h and the cell extracts were subjected to western blot for determination of protein expression by using indicated antibodies, the ratio of LC3 II/LC3 I was quantified (E, F).
