SA-β-gal staining (A) and the mRNA expression of senescence markers (PAI-1, p16INK-4a, p21Cip1/Waf1, p53, IL-6, MCP-1, TNF-α) (B–H) were significantly increased in human renal proximal tubular epithelial cells (HRPTEpiC) following TNF-α and TGF-β treatment.
