Fluorescent images of the immunostaining for JNK phosphorylation (pJNK) (aa”’, bb”’, cc”’) are shown. en-Gal4 was used as a control (aa”’), or to drive the expression of pont-IR (bb”’, cc”’) or UAS-Puc (cc”’). Compared with the en-Gal4 alone (aa”’), en>pont-IR induced strong JNK phosphorylation (b’, b”, b”’, indicated by white arrow in b’ and red arrow in b”), which was abolished by expression of Puc (cc”’).
