a MDA-MB-231 and MDA-MB-468 cells were treated with pristimerin at the indicated concentrations for 6 h, and Trx-1 activity in the cell lysates was determined by insulin endpoint assay. b Cells were pretreated with the indicated concentrations of pristimerin for 24 h. The expression of p-ASK1 at threonine 845, ASK1 was determined by Western blotting. c The cells were pretreated with NAC for 2 h and then treated with pristimerin (0.4 μM) for 24 h. The expression of p-ASK1 and ASK1 was assessed by Western blot.
