A MHCC-97H and SK-Hep1 cells with NUPR1 overexpression were pretreated with 20 μM fatostatin for 48 h prior to collecting cell lysates. The protein expression of lipogenesis enzymes was analyzed by western blotting. B Effects of LV-NUPR1, fatostatin or co-transfected with LV-NUPR1 and fatostatin on the proliferation of MHCC-97H and SK-Hep1 cells were evaluated by CCK8 assays. C Images of MHCC-97H and SK-Hep1 transfected with LV-NC and LV-NUPR1 treated with fatostatin and the effects on the proliferation were evaluated by EdU assays, scale bars represent 20 µm. D Transwell migration assays were used to detecte the migrative ability of MHCC-97H cells with LV-NUPR1, fatostatin or co-transfected with LV-NUPR1 and fatostatin, scale bars represent 50 µm. E HCC cells transfected with LV-NUPR1, fatostatin or co-transfected with LV-NUPR1 and fatostatin were stained with Bodipy 493/503 and images were acquired by confocal microscope.
