ALI in mice was induced by the airway administration of LPS. ADSCs were injected into the mouse tail vein to study its protective effect on ALI. A Mouse survival was monitored for 8 days (20% body weight loss). ***P < 0.001, ##P < 0.01. (determined by a log-rank (Mantel–Cox) Test). Acute lung tissue injury was evaluated by (B) Evans blue staining and (C) quantification. Evans blue concentration presents micrograms of Evans blue dye per gram of lung tissue. D The wet/dry weight ratio of lung was determined. E Pathological changes in the tissue were observed via H&E staining. F The total protein concentration was measured. G Concentration of inflammatory cytokines IFN-γ, IL-2, and TNF-α, was detected by ELISA. Data are shown as means ± SD (n = 10), *P < 0.05, ***P < 0.001 vs control; #P < 0.05, ###P < 0.001 vs ALI.
