Intracellular and extracellular signaling events and environmental stresses can affect PCK1 activity by regulating cell metabolism, leading to metabolic reprogramming, and thus affecting the occurrence and development of cancer. Targeting PCK1 combined with chemotherapy and immunotherapy are potential treatment strategies.
