PM2.5 exposure promotes ferroptosis by regulating ferritinophagy, NRF2, CYP1B1, AMPK, and SIRT3, whereas tectoridin, astragaloside IV, melatonin, rosavin, and sipeimine can prevent PM2.5-induced ferroptosis in an NRF2-dependent manner.
