A Femurs from wild-type or Drg2 knockout mice were subjected to micro-computed tomography. Representative 3D images of femurs were analyzed. Bone volume/tissue volume (BV/TV), trabecular thickness (Tb.Th), trabecular number (Tb.N), and trabecular separation (Tb.Sp) were determined. (N = 5 or 4). B Tibias from wild-type or Drg2 knockout mice were subjected to histological analyses. Images of tibiae stained using TRAP and H&E were analyzed, and the number of osteoclasts and osteoblasts was quantified. (N = 5 or 4). C Control siRNA or Drg2 siRNA was injected into mouse calvaria one day before collagen sponge implantation. Collagen sponges soaked with PBS or RANKL were implanted into mouse calvaria. Control siRNA or Drg2 siRNA was injected into mouse calvaria every 2 days for 5 days. Bone volume/tissue volume (BV/TV) was analyzed using micro-computed tomography. (N = 4). Data represent the mean ± SD of triplicate samples. #P < 0.05, *P < 0.01, **P < 0.001 vs. control.
