A An assessment of cell death was conducted in HLF and HLE cells treated with inhibitors targeting distinct forms of cell death (ferroptosis inhibitor Fer-1; apoptosis inhibitor ZVF; necroptosis inhibitor NEC-1, pyroptosis inhibitor VX765). B Quantification of lipid reactive oxygen species (ROS) was carried out using the C11-BODIPY 581/591 staining assay (Scale bar = 20 µm). C Intracellular levels of Fe2+ were measured (Scale bar = 20 µm).
