A Quantification of esg, sna and grh mRNA transcripts in 5–7-day old adult w1118 midguts shows that in comparison to known ISC/EB marker esg, grh transcripts are expressed at much lower levels but is more comparable to that of ISC regulator, sna. mRNA quantification was conducted using biological triplicates (n = 15 midguts for each replicate) with each replicate represented by individual data points.
