A, B C57BL/6 mice were pretreated with an intraperitoneal injection of vehicle or Zharp1-163 (5 mg/kg) for 30 min before receiving an intravenous injection of TNF-α (0.2 µg/g) (vehicle, Zharp1-163 group, n = 6). The survival rate (A) and body temperature loss (B) were monitored. C The mice were sacrificed 6 h after TNF-α injection, and the level of IL-6 in the mouse serum was measured via ELISA. D H&E staining of the cecum and colon in the mice was performed. Scale bar, 200 μm. E Pathological damage to the cecum and colon was quantified.
