Symmetric θ–2θ scans of TixV1−xO2 (x = 0.4, 0.5, and 0.55) epitaxial layers grown with different growth parameters. a (Ti, V)O2 films with an average composition of Ti0.5V0.5O2 grown at a laser pulse frequency f = 7 Hz at growth temperatures 200 ≤ Tg ≤ 450 °C. As Tg increased up to 420 °C, distinct satellite peaks up to fourth order, as well as thickness fringes, were observed. (Ti, V)O2 films with average compositions of b Ti0.4V0.6O2, c Ti0.5V0.5O2, and d Ti0.55V0.45O2 superlattices grown at 420 °C under 1 ≤ f ≤ 7 Hz. As f increased, the distance between adjacent satellite peaks was tuned. e Reciprocal space mapping (RSM) around the (112) reflection of the Ti0.4V0.6O2 superlattice with nominal composition grown on (001) TiO2 substrate f = 2 Hz at 420 °C
