Schematic Illustration of IOS-PA fabrication. IOS-PA was prepared from dual-scale TiO2 NPs, ER, and PFOS. Through spray coating, brush coating, and dip coating, the paint could be coated on multiple substrates. The superhydrophobic coating showed mechanical robustness (Challenge I), chemical anticorrosion (Challenge II), and long-term UV resistance (Challenge III) at the same time. The superhydrophobicity remained stable even under exposure to UV light for 100 h and ambient sunlight for 8640 h (1 year). Moreover, self-healing, resistance to high and low temperatures, anti-icing, photocatalysis, and self-cleaning were also observed for IOS-PA.
