The full-length dependovirus capsid coding sequences were subjected to recombination analysis to be split into segments without recombination. Segments 2290–2535 (a) and 6766–7074 (b) were used for MEME analysis [31]. Branches are colored according to the magnitude of the empirical Bayes factor (EBF) for the event of positive selection: red—evidence for positive selection, teal—evidence for neutral evolution or negative selection, black—no information.
