The four pannels show annual survival probability of females (a, b) and males (c, d) from the Rivière-aux-Feuilles (a, c) and Rivière-George (b, d) herds according to their age and PAM distance. Survival probabilities of individuals aged 3–11 years were comprised between those of individuals aged 2 and 12 years. In the best model (ωi=0.47), PAM distance (estimate±SE: −0.95±0.40) and herd (estimate±SE: −0.89±0.25) had significant effects. Age, age2, and sex did not have a significant effect.
