A total of 101,510 active and retired workers participated in the 2006–2007 health examination is a flow chart for the analysis of the association between baseline blood pressure and cardiovascular events. A total of 101,510 active and retired workers participated in the 2006–2007 health examination. Excluding those with incomplete blood pressure, history of myocardial infarction, stroke and cancer, 97,126 participants were included in the statistical analysis. The participants were followed until December 31, 2016. A total of 1318 myocardial infarction events, 3546 cerebral infarction events, and 950 cerebral hemorrhage events occurred
