The solid lines in a and b represent fits to the data by means of Eq. (1). The dashed lines are guides to the eye. c ZF μSR time spectra for MoTe2 recorded above and below T c. The line represents the fit to the data with a Kubo–Toyabe depolarization function39, reflecting the field distribution at the muon site created by the nuclear moments. Error bars are the s.e.m. in about 106 events. The error of each bin count n is given by the s.d. of n. The errors of each bin in A(t) are then calculated by s.e. propagation
