Time and temperature versus phase fraction during a simulated HIP cycle on the RR2450 alloy powder. Phase analysis was carried out on the synchrotron XRD powder patterns collected during the in-situ simulated HIP cycle. The π-ferrosilicide phase is shown to be fully decomposed above temperatures of 920 °C and precipitates M7C3 as it decomposes
