Model workflow of CE-BLAST. a The input files for CE-BLAST can be either the PDB structure of any protein antigen or the HA sequences of influenza A/H1N1 and H3N2 antigens. After the epitope sites are selected, CE-BLAST can automatically calculate the fingerprints for each epitope structure. b The epitope fingerprints are used to search against a built-in epitope database or a self-defined dataset that is uploaded by the user. c Output results are provided as a list of hit epitope structures with similarity scores in descending order. The user can also compare the structural differences using visualization links
