Asymmetric hydroformylation of Z-alkenylsilanes. Reaction conditions: 1 (0.5 mmol), Rh(acac)(CO)2 (0.5 mol%), (S,R)-(N-Bn)-YanPhos (1.5 mol%), CO (5 bar), H2 (5 bar), toluene (2 ml), 70 °C, 20 h. Isolated yields. Product ratios were determined by 1H NMR analysis of the unpurified reaction mixture. Enantiomeric excesses (ee) were determined by HPLC analysis using a chiral stationary phase after NaBH4 reduction. a1.0 mol% Rh(acac)(CO)2 and 3.0 mol% (S,R)-(N-Bn)-YanPhos were used
