From: Similar temperature scale for valence changes in Kondo lattices with different Kondo temperatures

Yb L3-Lα1 RXES spectra as a function of temperature. Data are shown for four Yb Kondo lattice systems with different TK from 45 K (YbIr2Si2) down to well below 1 K (YbCo2Si2). The incident photon energy was set to the maximum of the 2+ resonance at the Yb L3 absorption edge. All spectra are normalized to the intensity of the Yb3+ emission line. The inset shows a zoom-in on the Yb2+ region of the YbCo2Si2 spectra. Even though TK is well below 1 K in this compound, small but systematic changes of the Yb2+ intensity all the way up to room temperature are observed
