DO-SRS microscopy enables tracking of in vivo protein synthesis with high efficiency and without tissue bias. A variety of protein-rich organs were collected from adult mice that were administrated with 25% D₂O or 2 mg ml⁻¹ of D-labeled amino acids (D-AAs) in drinking water for 8 days and then imaged for CD_P and CH_P signals.
