SLC35B1 knockdown in HeLa cells does not dramatically affect cell growth, cell and ER morphology. a Quantitative RT-PCR performed after the transfection of HeLa cells with control siRNA or with SLC35B1- or SLC35B1-UTR targeting siRNA for 96 h. One set of control siRNA samples was treated with tunicamycin (Tu, 2.5 µg/ml) for 2 h in order to induce UPR40.
