Broadband signal reconstruction. Three unique light sources with broad spectral features were measured using the dFT spectrometer chip and elastic-D1 method (top red curves) and compared to measurements by a benchtop optical spectrum analyzer (OSA) (bottom black curves). The three light sources were generated using amplified spontaneous emission from an erbium-doped fiber passed through several Mach–Zehnder interferometers (additional information is provided in the Methods)
