Electronic structure of h’-WO3, hexagonal h-WO3, and monoclinic m-WO3. The 30-(WO6)6 rotation defects have been taken into account by considering the second phase used for Rietveld refinement, where all (WO6)6 wheels are rotated (rotated h'). For hexagonal phases, the diameter of the (WO6)6 channels is specified from oxygen ion centers. After subtraction of oxygen radii, the internal channel diameters are ca. 4.8 and 5.1 Å for h’-WO3 and h-WO3, respectively. The calculated total densities of states (DOS) are shown for each phase
