Multivariate analysis of metabolites and environmental drivers using capscale. Constrained analysis of principal coordinates (capscale) ordinations are based on Bray-Curtis dissimilarity, computed from normalized peak intensities, and used to test for an association of metabolite composition (as derived from electron ionization gas chromatography mass spectrometry) with spatial, climate, and fluvial characteristics.
