Antibacterial activities of synthesized and purified peptides. The peptides were derived after coexpression of glycocin precursors with PalS/PalT/PalST proteins in E. coli, subsequent purification by Ni2+ affinity chromatography (IMAC) and RP-HPLC. Antibacterial activity was indicated as a clearly visible inhibition zone of sensitive strain P. genomospecies 1 NUB36187 and assessed by a spot on a lawn assay
