Hyp1 biosynthetic gene cluster encoded in the genome of B. megaterium BHG1.1 is 5013 bp in length and encodes for proteins: Hyp1, Hyp1S, Hyp1T, Trx, DsbB, and Hyp1U. The Hyp2 biosynthetic gene cluster encoded in the genome of Bacillus sp. JCM19047 is 3932 bp in length and encodes for proteins: Hyp2, Hyp2T, Trx, and Hyp2S
