Schematic of the magnetic separation system. a The concept of our strategy: in the spontaneous crystallization, two isomers with almost 100% yield can be obtained, but the enantiomeric crystals are hard to distinguish. In the fractional crystallization, only one isomer with less than 20% yield can be obtained in one crystallization process.
