Western blot of wild type, x1KO_1a and supplemented x1KO_1a strains. Cells were grown under low light. After blotting, the blot was cut and the upper part was incubated with a Rubisco antibody, whereas the lower part was incubated with the Lhcx antibody. Lhcx1 has the lowest molecular mass, Lhcx2 the highest, and Lhcx3 and Lhcx4 have a molecular mass in between. Protein mass marker bands are indicated on the left.
