Bacterial two-hybrid assay with YtfK and several truncated version of SpoT. BTH101 strain harboring pUT18c ytfK and truncated pKT25 spoT were spotted on X-Gal agar base plates (see the Methods section). The blue color indicates a positive interaction. This experiment was repeated four times with identical results.
