I and I0 are the intensities of fluorescence of the GC5A-6C•Fl (0.8/1.0 μM for a, b; 3.0/1.0 μM for c, d; and 10.0/1.0 μM for (e, f) reporter pair with and without the guest molecules, respectively. All experiments were performed at 25 °C, λex = 500 nm, and λem = 513 nm. Error bars represent mean ± s.d. (n = 3 independent experiments).
