Schematic showing Li plating and stripping on the SPEEK-Li/POSS-coated Cu: solvated Li ions undergo desolvation and diffusing across the cation-selective membrane to form a uniform and dense Li metal layer, which is subsequently removed, in between the membrane and Cu surface with a high CE and excellent long-term cycling stability.
