The dynamics of shock-wave expansion over time are illustrated from data collected at ultra-high imaging rates. For this particular experiment, the plasma emission overwhelms the first frame of the PCDIH signal. Holograms captured at 500 kHz and 5 MHz are illustrated in Supplementary Movie 2.
