a Time-sliced velocity map image of the S(1D2) photofragments from photolysis of H2S at λ = 139.11 nm with the polarization vector of the photolysis laser radiation (εphot, shown by the doubled headed red arrow) aligned in the plane of the image. b P(ET) spectrum derived therefrom assuming recoil from an H2 co-fragment. The superposed combs indicate the H2(v″, J″) states responsible for the evident structure with, for simplicity, only the ortho- (odd) J″ states indicated.
