MORB segment averages of 87Sr/86Sr (a), 143Nd/144Nd (b) and 176Hf/177Hf (c) from Gale et al.69 exemplify the time-integrated source heterogeneity observed in Mid-Atlantic Ridge basalts. 16°N region, labeled, shows the heterogeneous nature of source material on scales of tens of kilometers, typical for Atlantic MORB. 16°N samples are given as a range with data from Henrick70.
