The most abundant MSCs are those represented in Fig. 4 (‘All Cells’). Joining lines were drawn if two MSCs of adjacent ranks with a specific composition of segments could be connected to the next through the addition of a single segment. The numbers in the boxes correspond to segments S1–S8.
