The cladogram highlights two branches that experienced large origination events, NS LCA and NS-2 LCA. The originating gene families are extensively duplicated in some lineages, such as g_TH5895, but also extensively lost in other lineages, such as g_TH4187. The ‘% Dup’ and ‘% Lost’ values have been corrected for genome completeness. The 12 new genomes assembled in this study are indicated by red tip labels. Genus-level taxonomic affiliations are presented next to the cladogram tips.
