Recognizing the rapid and high profile nature of COVID-19 research, investigators should apply careful checks throughout the Data and Design, Analysis, Interpretation, Publication, and Dissemination phases of their work. This includes iteration to ensure that dissemination of any policy relevant conclusions is grounded in study design and analysis, with results updated to reflect current understanding.
