In the first intron of GRHL3, CPSF and HNRNPA3 bind to nascent RNA to cooperatively suppress splicing and promote intronic polyadenylation, which suppresses full-length GRHL3 mRNA expression and inhibit premature differentiation. UD undifferentiated keratinocytes, DF differentiated keratinocytes.
