It shows that the centipede sequences originated from a bacterial HGT into the lithobiomorph lineage. Centipede sequences are coloured red. Highlighted sequences are Bacteria (pink), Viridiplantae (cyan), Protozoa (purple), Euryarchaeota (brown), and Fungi (yellow). Metazoan sequences are not highlighted. The tree was reconstructed using the VT + G4 model and is displayed as midpoint rooted. Bootstrap support values are shown for each clade, and clades with support <50% are collapsed into polytomies.
