Note that the KBS Tuff (KBT) occurs in a gravel-silty unit (Section A) occasionally removed by erosion (Section B). In the absence of the tuff, this disconformity marks the boundary between KBS and upper Burgi deposits (Section B). Section locations are provided in the inset medallion map.
