We find (A) an almost typical inter-seismic deformation period; (B) the 2017 Guerrero SSE (G-SSE1) and the initiation of the 2017 Oaxaca SSE (O-SSE1); (B–D) the evolution of the O-SSE1; (E–F) the post-seismic slip of the Mw7.2 Pinotepa earthquake (PE-afterslip) together with a neighboring but separated SSE in Guerrero (G-SSE2, second one); and (G–H) the concomitant evolution of the 2019 Guerrero (G-SSE3, third one) and Oaxaca (O-SSE2, second one) SSEs (see Table 1).
