Reaction conditions: N-arylacrylamide 7 (0.2 mmol), alkyloxalyl chloride 2 (0.6 mmol), Ir(ppy)3 (2 mol %), 2,6-lutidine (0.4 mmol), anhydrous DMF (4.0 mL), blue LEDs, 40 °C, 24 h, under N2 atmosphere. Yield of isolated product. The dr values were determined by 1H NMR analysis. aReaction time: 48 h.
