Urea soluble proteins from HEK expressing Httex1 72Q or Httex1 16Q of 3 independent experiments were extracted 48 h after transfection and analyzed using LC-MS/MS. a Identified proteins were plotted using a volcano plot. Black lines represent the threshold of significance at a false discovery rate (FDR) < 0.05 and an S0 of 0.5 which were used for the subsequent analysis. b, c Proteins significantly enriched in Httex1 72Q (red dots in the right part of the volcano plot) were classified by cellular component (b) or biological processes (c) using Gene Ontology (GO) term and DAVID enrichment (−log10(p-value) > 1) analyses.
