Temperature T(t) of the “cold” electronic oscillation at the n = 15 layer for different values of U (the same values used in the inset of Fig. 4) Some of the data have been magnified and the curves shifted for graphical reasons. The horizontal arrows highlight the oscillation periods that match the frequency ν* extracted from spectral analysis of the temperature wave packet.
